NHBC Buildmark Cover

All our new homes are sold with the benefit of the NHBC Buildmark Cover. Briefly, this protects the purchasers from the damage caused by defects (i.e. a breach of a mandatory NHBC Standards requirement) in the first 2 years after completion. Cover is then extended in years from 3 to 10 for damage to certain defined parts of the building, including foundations and the load bearing walls. Our status with the NHBC is A1, the highest status possible. The A refers to the length of time we have been registered with the NHBC, while the 1 denotes our claims record.  

History

Ballard Homes have been operating since the 1950s as a local family run housebuilder. All our past developments have been in the South Wales area. They have varied from starter homes to six bedroom premium houses; they have also included bungalows, dormer bungalows and flats. Past developments include Clos Ty Ysgol, North Cornelly and the latest development Garth Mor, Neath where the last house is under offer.
